Community education by VOICE, Inc.
Learn to sign from a qualified instructor in an engaging classroom setting in Midland. You'll be surprised at how much you can learn!
Learners will attend class in the community education room at the VOICE office. Our address is 3200 James Savage Rd, Ste 1, Midland, MI 48642.
Course registration costs $130 for community members. VOICE employees can receive discounted registration by contacting the office.
We have two courses that start after Thanksgiving and continue into the new year. Each course will run for a total of 10 weeks.
There will be no class the week of Christmas, Dec 24 – Dec 30.
The course will be taught by local instructor Patrice Ingle, who brings personal and professional experience. Being Deaf, Patrice uses sign language every day. Her deep personal connection to the language shapes how she teaches, with a hope to inspire that same love for visual communication in her students. Since 2018, Patrice has taught introductory ASL courses as an adjunct faculty at Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University.
